forecast was looking good today, broke outta the clouds and up into the alpine before all the rednecks on turbosleds showed up.  wasn’t all smooth sailing thou, 8mile filmer extraordinaire, trout had some issues with his clutch but was able to get in and out with ease. got some shots, got some a&w afterwards, good day.

interesting day full of ups and downs, first day with good light, got some shots, got some pow runs in but also sled issues with my clutch, tumble down a slope and sketchy firewire drive with all my footage acting all dicey. hopefully tomorrow is less dramatic.

after sounding like a helicopter for 25km my sled got its act together and make it back to the trucks with any towing and minimal swearing from yours truly.  not one to risk a bluebird day on a dicey-mobile i picked up a summit xp 163 for the next couple days from the fine people at powder pete’s here in revy to get the job done.

fooled again by the forecast, greybird limited radness by about 40-80% but got another good campfire hang in and jammed around in the trees for a bit and almost getting into the alpine but again getting shutdown by visibility. hopefully better luck tomorrow.

got the call for an unexpected pow trip 2 days ago, finished up sending out pre-olympic halfpipe footage then up to whistler to load the sled and back on the road.

nice to be back home, got a couple runs in at seymour the other day. lower elevations on the north shore are looking pretty grim, but the park was looking real fun. lots of press about the lack of snow up here, no idea what kinda condition the olympic pipe is gonna be in but i heard shaun white already won.

its been dumping hard in parkcity since we got here and night pipe contests means day pow boardin’, some amazing runs with the crew today, no documenting just shredding, pretty fuckin’ rad. couple hours rest, then back up for the night pipe.
